Project Manager (12-15 yrs)

Job Summary :

We are seeking a Senior Project Manager with a strong background in Agile Project Management to lead and manage the successful delivery of software and web development projects within a Life Sciences environment. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with both Agile and traditional project management methodologies, with a proven track record of managing large, complex projects across multiple teams. You will be responsible for ensuring the timely delivery of value, fostering a high-performing team culture, and driving continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities :

- Define and manage project scope and schedules to ensure regular and timely delivery of value to stakeholders.

- Organize and lead project status and working meetings, preparing and distributing progress reports regularly throughout the project lifecycle.

- Manage project risks and issues, taking corrective actions to maintain project alignment with goals.

- Lead the delivery planning for assigned projects and manage multiple teams with tight deadlines and dependencies.

- Act as the main point of contact for customer expectations regarding project deliverables, stakeholder communications, and governance processes.

- Contribute to team development by mentoring team members, removing roadblocks, and ensuring that each team member is fully engaged and accountable for their work.

- Promote team empowerment, ensuring a sustainable pace of work while maintaining high-quality standards.

- Champion ongoing process improvement initiatives, adopting Agile best practices to improve team and project outcomes.

- Develop expertise in industry-specific trends and regulatory requirements to ensure the team meets all compliance and process needs.

- Facilitate smooth project execution by working closely with stakeholders (Engineering, Pre-Validation, Product Management, Services & Support).

- Oversee JIRA project management to ensure proper tracking and reporting of progress.

- Work with Technical Leads on sprint and release planning to ensure alignment with project goals.

Skills & Requirements :

- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in a related field.

- Minimum 12+ years of experience in software development life cycle models and Agile project management, blending Agile and traditional methodologies based on project needs.

- 5+ years of experience managing large, complex software or web development projects in a high-tech environment, with multi-functional teams.

- A strong technical background to effectively evaluate complex project risks and issues.

- Experience in an early-stage company is a plus.

- Deep understanding of Agile principles and Scrum methodology.

- Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently, with a strong ability to keep track of various moving parts.

- Experience in architecting enterprise-class business intelligence solutions in a commercial environment is desirable.

- Excellent analytical skills, along with strong communication and organizational abilities.

- Flexible, resourceful, and creative problem-solving approach.

- Life Sciences experience is a plus.
