Company/OPCO : ROCKWOOL TECHNICAL INSULATION INDIA PVT LTD. Location : Cheyyar. Role Summary : Manager in Electrical & Automation,& Digital is a professional responsible for overseeing and managing the entire electrical maintenance activities including electrical, automation, and digital within an organization. The role involves ensuring the smooth operation and reliability of electrical systems, equipment, and machinery.

Key responsibilities and activities include, but is not limited to : General : Project Execution of Greenfield factory in co-ordination with relevant stakeholders including Chinese and European and Indian OEMs, contractors, suppliers, technical team members from Asia and Europe. To secure that all works and task of the section are carried out according to in force company rules and department processes. To secure that all his employees have the right education, training and certificates in order to allow them to fulfil their job responsibilities. To follow up department objectives, elaborate action plans and determine the necessary resources in order to fulfil them.

Provides Maintenance Manager with established reports and charts to track maintenance key indicators. To secure that all works and task of the section are carried out according to safety rules. The employee has to carry out all other ad hoc tasks defined by his superior. Implement new projects as applicable.

Preventive maintenance : In cooperation with his superior and subordinates establish preventive and predictive maintenance programs on machinery as per Rockbis PM Module ensuring unscheduled repairs are minimized,. Planning of the Electrical department activities. Coordination with other departments Production, Purchase, Stores, HR,PQE, Accounts. Analyzes preventive works, unscheduled maintenance works and failure analysis data to improve equipment performance and reliability.

Maintenance works : In basis of maintenance plans, coordinate, supervise and perform established preventive inspections and repairs. Locates and analyze sources of problems. Solve Electrical / control related problems on the production equipment executing repairs quickly, accurately and effectively. Assists with reviewing subcontractors.

Monitors contractors adherence top quality standards and completion of work in a timely and cost effective manner. Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations. Develops technical solutions to address maintenance related problems while minimizing cost and technical downtime. Oversee the completion of identified work including ordering of parts and planning the execution of this work.

Areas of responsibility : Electrical and automation installations of Core line machinery. Utilities comprising of Compressed air installations, Water installations, Gas Installations. Joint Plants Briquette plant machineries, Waste processing Rod mill plant, PSM. Required Skills & Experience.

Skills & Experience Desirable. Technical Proficiency Electrical, Transformers, Switchgears, Relay protection system, HV switch gears, Earthing, Lighting, Energy Management,. Automation & Digital Siemens S7 PLCs, WinCC Scada, Lenze & Siemens Servo Drives, ABB ACS series of drives, Profibus and Ethernet and other networks, Servers ,Encoders, controllers, weighing machines, Transmitters, flowmeters, different type of sensors etc. Maintenance Expertise.
