Role & responsibilities

Responsible for implementation of continuous improvement initiatives i.e. TPM, Lean management, six sigma, KAIZEN, Suggestion scheme etc. in various production shops and all documentation related works pertaining to quality systems

Follow up for implementation of KAIZENs and Suggestions leading to productivity improvements and cost savings

Follow up for implementation TPM activities as per plan and prepare pre-post implementation reports

Undertake GEMBA visit to ensure closure of action points identified during TPM reviews

Follow up with concerned departments to ensure closure of action points

Follow up for implementation of identified improvement projects

Coordinate with concerned stakeholders for technical evaluation of various suggestions received through suggestion scheme / KAIZENs

Follow up with finance department for timely distribution of awards as per the scheme in coordination with finance

Support for organizing Biannual KAIZEN mela

Collect all forms/formats from all the departments and review to ensure adherence to Quality systems, processes, and procedures

Support during Quality Assurance audits and assist in developing action plans and follow up for closure of action points

Manage the proper storage and filing of controlled documents

Prepare and timely submit all MIS & reports

Preferred candidate profile

BE / MBA in project management

Exposure to new quality techniques like TPM, 5S, Six Sigma, ISO standards etc
