The Position

Mission

You will join the Product Development, Integration and Engineering chapter, which aims to build excellence and mastery in innovative software product development capabilities. We provide all software development and integration expertise and technology leadership required across multiple business and foundational teams to leverage technology for improved patient outcomes. It provides rapid prototyping techniques, technology consulting, and advisory to solve particular software solution problems.

As a ServiceNow Developer, you will develop and maintain ServiceNow applications and integrations. You will be part of DevOps team consisting of business analyst, Technical leads, developers, testers, developers, and other stakeholders to design and implement solutions that meet the organizations needs. You will also be responsible for ensuring that ServiceNow applications are stable, scalable, and secure.

What youll be working on

- Develop and maintain ServiceNow applications and integrations

- Work closely with business analysts, developers, and other stakeholders to design and implement solutions that meet the organizations needs

- Write efficient and high-quality code that is scalable and maintainable. Ensure your code is defect-free by thoroughly testing it before handing it over to testers

- Develop and maintain technical documentation for ServiceNow applications and integrations

- Participate in code reviews and collaborate with other developers to ensure code quality

- Ensure that Service Now applications are stable, scalable, and secure

- Troubleshoot and debug issues in ServiceNow applications and integrations

- Stay up-to-date with the latest Service Now technologies and trends

The ideal candidate

- Has 3-5 years of experience in the ServiceNow platform, various product suites and international teams with focus on quality outcomes

- Strong understanding of ServiceNow best practices

- Proficient in the ServiceNow technology and has experience with the related supporting capabilities- Has a good understanding of the ServiceNow cloud architecture as well as the Roche integration services based on Mulesoft

- Demonstrating experience working with workflows in one or more key areas of the ServiceNow platform (ITSM, CSDM, WSD, Portal technologies)

- Experience in ServiceNow WSD, Custom Apps and Integrations is strongly preferred

- Strong experience with JavaScript, AngularJS, HTML, CSS, and REST APIs

- Is passionate about learning, sharing, and further developing best practices and embedding them as next practice to achieve greater impact

- Lives the Agile / SCRUM methodology and mindset

- Exhibits servant leadership behavior, self-aware leadership and a flexible team player

- Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate effectively with business analysts, developers, and testers

- Good communication skills while working with the team and importantly with the stakeholders

- Possesses a combination of analytical thinking, hands-on problem-solving, and a customer-service mindset

- Is capable of out-of-the-box thinking paired with the view of the Big Picture to "connect the dots"

- Can challenge requirements in a constructive way to contribute to the goal of reducing maintenance efforts and ensuring upgradability by keeping complexity and customization to a minimum

- ServiceNow Developer Certification is a plus
