Job Responsibilities:

• Ensure that Styli applications are high-quality by building product test strategies, writing and automating test plans, and communicating with the team about issues, risk, and product quality
• Help ensure releases adhere to deadlines while not compromising on quality.
• Able to communicate effectively with fellow developers about quality related needs
• Defining automation plans to support new product launches.
• Identify and execute on opportunities to improve the QA process
• Design and implement automation framework that work across multiple platforms and devices.
• Lead automation efforts, and explore new test automation tools and methods.
• Establish processes and tool set to maintain automation scripts and generate regular test reports.
• Working directly with Developers, QA Engineers, Product Managers, and Technical Program Managers to ensure quality of our delivered systems.
• The ideal candidate will quick learner and be able to work independently. He/she should be able to operate in a very fast paced environment.

Qualification:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or similar technical field
• 9+ years of experience as a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET)
• Experience developing automation in at least one of OO languages - Java, Python
• Experienced in mobile (iOS and Android) and web test automation
• Demonstrated experience in test framework design and development
• Demonstrated experience in test planning, test design, and test execution of highly complex systems.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Understanding of QA methodologies, life cycle and processes.
• Hands-on automation for end to end testing including back-end or front-end applications.
• Comfortable with Selenium, Gherkins / Cucumber frameworks
• Ability to use a wide variety of open source and in house technologies and tools, that are DevOps enablers such as Docker, Maven, Jenkins, GiTHub etc.
• Collaborate with Developers, Business and multiple global stakeholders to drive QA
• Should take a hands-on approach to implementing QA processes right from requirements analysis, test design, automation and analysis, where required. Should own the quality and timeliness of delivery.
• Good to have performance, Scalability, Stress tests and Security Testing skills.
