Asst. Manager-Mechanical

Role & responsibilities

• Should have BE/B. Tech / Diploma in mechanical or equivalent qualification
• Working with the manager and other mechanics to diagnose and repair the mechanical and electrical components of vehicles.
• Should have strong knowledge in automobile section and repair & maintenance of Tippers, Dumpers, JCB, Excavators, Campers, Tractors, loaders etc.
• Performing test drivers, inspections, and other diagnostic tests on vehicles to identify where problems exists and determine which parts need to be repaired or replaced.
• Recruiting drivers, Mechanics & other relevant staff to perform day to day activities
• Participating in plant expansion, equipment planning and conversion
• Ensuring all critical parts are checked and tested
• Completing preventative maintenance on vehicles, such as performing oil changes, flushing and replacing fluids, and replacing brakes.
• Repairing or replacing worn, old or defective parts
• Determining important key performance indicators and measuring them regularly
• Ensuring smooth day-to-day operations of the manufacturing plant
• Should have strong hold in MS Excel applications

Preferred candidate profile

Candidates have experience in heavy commercial vehicles preferred
