Senior Associate - Hedge Fund Accounting

Job title: Senior Associate - Hedge fund accounting

Location: Pune

Shift: 5 pm to 2 am (Transportation provided)

Responsibilities:

• Hands on experience in hedge fund accounting, hedge funds, mutual funds, private equity.
• Calculate the Net Asset Value (NAV) for hedge funds on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis.
• Reconcile cash, positions, and P&L to ensure accuracy of financial data.
• Maintain general ledger accounts and prepare supporting schedules.
• Perform reconciliation of fund accounting records with custodians, brokers, and administrators.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies in cash, position, and trade activity.
• Assist in preparing financial statements in accordance with US GAAP and/or IFRS.
• Analyze fund performance and provide data to portfolio managers and senior management.

Qualifications:

Education and Experience:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in hedge fund accounting, fund administration.
