Analyst/Senior Analyst - Renewable Investments (Sector Specialist)

About Company - Global recognized leader in Financial & Technology based firm with Offices in New York, Hong Kong, Hyderabad (India), Kansas City, London and Silicon Valley seeking a resourceful and skilled candidate to join their Renewable Investments group. This position is based in Hyderabad office and will be a part of the Acquisitions and Finance team, collaborating with both U.S. and Hyderabad-based teams.

Requirements:

- Build financial models for new M&A opportunities and PPA bids.

- Analyze project returns and provide detailed analysis based on key project documents such as investment memorandums and other materials.

- Assess the impact on project returns and capital structure.

- Conduct scenario analysis based on key project variables like production, price, capex, and other inputs.

- Perform internal and external due diligence during the pre-acquisition stage, including reviewing key project documents such as power purchase agreements, EPC agreements, and permitting documentation.

Basic Qualifications:

- An MBA (Finance) or comparable qualification with 1 - 3 years of experience.

- Excellent financial modeling capabilities with the ability to build project models with limited direction and guidance.

- Strong research skills and knowledge of the power and utilities sector, particularly in solar, wind, and storage technologies.

- Exceptional written and communication skills, including report-writing capabilities.
