Role Overview:

Company is seeking a talented and resourceful Lead Analyst / Principal Analyst / Associate Director to join our Financial Research group based in Hyderabad, Bengaluru, or Gurugram. In this role, you'll collaborate closely with portfolio managers and analysts within our Fundamental Equities - Healthcare team, working on sector-focused investment research that directly informs our portfolio decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

- Build and maintain financial models, conduct valuations, and perform in-depth analysis to support investment decisions.

- Research the healthcare sector comprehensively, covering sub-sectors such as pharmaceuticals, biotech, life sciences, diagnostics, healthcare IT, and med-tech.

- Conduct detailed benchmarking and scenario analysis of valuation and operational metrics against industry peers.

- Present well-researched investment ideas to front-office teams, iterating on financial models and providing actionable insights.

- Participate in discussions with management, sell-side analysts, sector experts, and intermediaries to gather sector insights and enhance investment research.

Basic Qualifications:

- A degree in finance or a related field (MBA, CFA, or CA preferred) and over 5 years of experience in investment research.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey complex analyses and ideas.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience in international healthcare markets and sub-sectors.

- Proficiency in Bloomberg Query Language/BQuant and VisibleAlpha scripting.
