Java Backend Developer - Spring Boot (6-12 yrs)

Desired Competencies (Technical/Behavioral Competency) :

Must Have :

(Ideally should not be more than 3-5)

- You have a minimum of 5 years of experience in agile software engineering as a backend developer with Skills on Java, Spring Boot

- Knowledge on Restful web services, Microservices

- You've mastered many technologies over your career and quickly pick up new ones when needed

- You have a strong understanding of developing applications for the public cloud

Good to Have :

- Exp. In Azure

- Experience with container technologies is a plus

- Good communication and people skills are important

- Proficiency in English is mandatory.

SN Responsibility of / Expectations from the Role :

- Application development/refactoring/redevelopment (Eg. Java & Spring Boot)

- Application hosting on compute services such as Azure App Service and Azure Functions.

- Messaging via Azure Service Bus.

- Security development (e.g., moving to modern authn/authz protocols such as OIDC & OAuth2 with Azure AD and/or Okta; possible usage of Cloudflare).

- Database migration (primarily from Oracle to PostgreSQL; Azure SQL and CosmosDB may also be used in some cases).

- ETL process migration to Azure Logic Apps and/or Azure Data Factory.
