Risk Analyst

Key Responsibility Areas (KRAs)

• Monitoring and managing mortgages (Secured Business Loans & Affordable Housing Loans) portfolio by analysing overall credit exposure and performance
• Gathering, analysing and presenting the data to all the stakeholders on credit risk parameters and supporting business team in decision making on different parameters.
• Collaborate with business team and other stakeholders to review product level credit policies and approving the same.
• Conducting monthly review of portfolio by tracking EWS (early warning signals), vintage graphs, TTD data and loss trends in order to take proactive actions for enhancing portfolio quality by flagging off high risk segments to relevant stakeholders.
• Prepare risk reports and presentation to senior management and Board, highlighting key risk parameters trends and mitigations strategies on monthly/ quarterly basis.
• The role requires a strong analytical mindset, proficiency in data analysis tools (Python or R Studio) and ability to communicate complex information clearly to stakeholders across the organization.

Education & Experience

• Any Graduate or Postgraduate
• 4+ years of experience in Banking Sector preferably in Mortgage lending

Technical competencies & skills

• Candidate must have knowledge in data analytics tools like Python or R Studio, Microsoft office and Advanced Excel.
