This includes setting priorities, allocating resources, and defining research focus areas

Project Management: Oversee and manage R&D projects, from conceptualization to completion, ensuring they are executed efficiently and within budget

Team Leadership: Manage a team of researchers, scientists, engineers, and other R&D professionals, providing guidance, setting performance targets, and fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration

Budget Management: Allocate and manage R&D budgets, ensuring that resources are used effectively and that projects stay on track financially

Technology Assessment: Evaluate emerging technologies and trends to identify opportunities for innovation and product development

Product Development: Collaborate with product development teams to translate research findings into new products or improved existing ones

Intellectual Property: Oversee the management of intellectual property, such as patents and trademarks, and ensure that the organization's innovations are protected

Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that R&D activities comply with industry regulations, quality standards, and safety requirements
