Transformer Design Engineer

Role & responsibilities

1. New product design (LT & MV) Current transformer & Potential transformer as per standard.

2. To handle all technical inquiries related to Current transformers like metering, protection, special protection, Split Core type, Epoxy Resin cast CT etc.

3. To handle all technical inquiries related to Voltage transformers.

4. To prepared /estimate cost as per requirement.

5. To prepare BOM as per requirement

6. Conduct research & create design proposals for new products.

7. Validate product designs and provide corrections (if needed).

8. Provide design solutions to meet cost-effectiveness.

9. To do type testing (Both internal and External) of CT's i.e. LT , MVCT & PT

WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

1. Should have worked as a Transformer Design Engineer/ Sr Design Engineer in manufacturing company.

2. The experience must be from manufacturing of Electrical products like CT/PT etc.

3. Should be familiar with various product standards and specifications.
