Job Description
- Assist Expert in coordinating the Safety issues with construction contractors as well as the CLIENT and other stakeholder.
- Ensure implementation of approved Safety Plan.
- Recommend addition/ alteration in safety plan with changes in field conditions or additional plant, machinery or equipment brought for use by construction contractor.
- Training and educating the engineers of the contractor and CLIENT on safety issues.
- Conduct site inspections to check and ensure compliance to the safety plans. Supervise and educate the Construction Safety Engineers in monitoring the safety measures of Contractors.
- Graduate in any discipline of engineering with IOSH/NEBOSH
- Minimum experience of 10 years in relevant field, out of which minimum 4 years experience should be in similar role in metro rail projects / major bridge projects
- Excellent written and oral English communication skills.
- Ability to work within a culturally diverse organization, recognizing and respecting differences.
- Ability to problem solve, especially in an integrated project delivery environment, applying industry best practices.
- Self-motivated individual with outstanding leadership skills and the ability to influence without authority.
