Head of Projects (Real Estate)

We are seeking an experienced Head of Projects to lead and manage our real estate development team in Goa. This role involves overseeing a team of project managers and engineers, ensuring timely delivery of projects while maintaining the highest standards of quality, cost-efficiency, and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Leadership and Team Management:

Lead, mentor, and manage a team of project managers and engineers, fostering collaboration and accountability.

Develop clear goals and performance metrics for the team, ensuring alignment with company objectives.

Provide strategic guidance on project execution and problem-solving.

2. Project Oversight:

Oversee all aspects of project planning and execution, including design, procurement, construction, and handover.

Ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the specified quality standards.

Monitor project progress and resolve escalations or bottlenecks promptly.

3. Quality and Compliance:

Enforce adherence to design specifications, construction standards, and company protocols.

Ensure compliance with local regulations, permits, and environmental guidelines.

Implement and monitor quality assurance processes across all sites.

4. Stakeholder Management:

Act as the primary point of contact for senior management, clients, consultants, and contractors.

Facilitate seamless communication between all stakeholders to ensure expectations are met.

5. Budget and Resource Management:

Prepare and monitor project budgets, ensuring cost-efficiency and financial controls.

Optimize resource allocation across projects to achieve operational efficiency.

6. Risk Management:

Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure uninterrupted project progress.

Conduct regular reviews and audits to ensure safety and compliance standards are upheld.

Qualifications and Skills:

Education:

Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field .

Experience:

Minimum of 15 years of experience in real estate project management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.

Proven track record of delivering large-scale luxury residential projects.

Skills:

Exceptional leadership and team management skills.

Strong understanding of construction processes, project management methodologies, and quality standards.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities.

Proficiency in project management tools, scheduling software, and MS Office.

Other Requirements:

Knowledge of local regulations, permits, and environmental norms in Goa.

Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
