Senior Manager / Head Production - Sheet Metal & Stamping Operations

Role & responsibilities

- Heading the sheet metal & stamping production unit,

-To ensure production, tool, equipment and materials etc are in place

- Lead the various new projects and plan manufacturing operations accordingly

- Daily review meetings with production & planning team to improve plant efficiency

- To ensuring adherence to the allotted budgets.

- To ensure that the plant maintains and constantly improves on desired profitability.
- To ensure that all Safety, Health and Environment parameters
- Design and execute systems and processes for enhance operational efficiency.
- Ensure inventories of all critical inputs are captured and maintained accordingly

- Finalize the specifications of materials and establishing the quality and quantity limits.
- Assure all work entered into production follows the order entry standards and procedures.
- Ensure the rejections and reworks are significantly reduced thereby ensure cost competitiveness.
- Employee relations, team leadership, manpower planning, training & development etc.,

- Knowledge on Quality Systems, Value stream Mapping, TPM

Preferred candidate profile

- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing, NTTF or a related field

- Minimum of 20 years of experience in manufacturing, with at least 10 years in a leadership role

- Proven experience in Sheet Metal/Stamping Production and plant management

- Excellent leadership and team management skills

- Strong problem-solving abilities and strategic thinking

- Exposure in ISO 9000: 2015 / 14001:2015 / 45001:2015 / ISO 3834/5448/24/ 16949:2016,

Kaizen, 5S techniques, would be an added advantage.
- Should have clear understanding on working across the CFT Team and maintaining good

relationships.

- If Candidate Higher Experience, then thay will be considered for senior Management Positions

- Immediate Joiners / Short Notice will be given preference.
