Job Title : SAP FICO Consultant.

Experience Level: Senior (7+ years of SAP FICO experience).

Job Summary :

We are seeking an experienced SAP FICO Consultant with a strong background in financial accounting, asset management, and integration processes within SAP.

This role involves configuring and managing key FICO modules, developing functional specifications, and leading critical financial operations like foreign currency revaluation, electronic bank statement processing, and automated payment programs.

Key Responsibilities :

Configuration and Process Management :

- Implement Foreign Currency Revaluation, handling full configuration, process flow, and accounting entries.

- Set up and manage Electronic Bank Statements (EBS) with search string functionality and Automatic Payment Program (APP), ensuring streamlined and compliant processes.

- Lead Asset Accounting configuration and ensure accurate asset management and reporting.

Integration and Customization :

- Configure integration points between FICO and SD/MM modules through OBYC and VKOA settings.

- Develop and maintain interfaces for effective data flow between SAP and external systems.

Taxation and Compliance :

- Configure Withholding Tax settings, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.

- Provide expertise in taxation processes, addressing both domestic and international tax obligations within SAP.

Documentation and Specification Development :

- Draft comprehensive Functional Specifications for custom developments, ensuring accurate documentation and seamless implementation.

- Utilize IDOC technology to facilitate data exchange between SAP systems and other applications, troubleshooting as needed.

Communication and Stakeholder Engagement :

- Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams, clients, and other stakeholders to ensure the alignment of FICO processes and system functionality with business needs.

- Provide ongoing support, user training, and detailed documentation for configured solutions.

Required Skills and Experience :

- 7+ years of relevant experience in SAP FICO, including foreign currency revaluation, asset accounting, and automated payment processes.

- Expertise in Electronic Bank Statements (EBS) with search string functionality and Automatic Payment Program (APP).

- Strong background in OBYC and VKOA configuration for integration between FICO, SD, and MM modules.

- Experience creating functional specifications, working with IDOCs, and handling withholding taxes.

- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Working knowledge of SAP enhancement techniques and customizations.

- SAP certification in FICO is a plus.

- Experience with SAP S/4HANA is an advantage.
