Senior SAP MM Functional Consultant (5-8 yrs)

Job Description :

We are looking for an experienced SAP MM Functional Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the SAP Materials Management (MM) module, with hands-on experience in at least one full lifecycle SAP implementation.

This role requires a professional with strong analytical skills, a solid grasp of business processes, and the ability to translate those into SAP solutions. Implement and configure the SAP MM module to meet business needs, including Procurement, Inventory Management, Invoice Verification, Material Valuation, and Vendor Master Data.

- Work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into functional specifications for SAP MM solutions.

- Lead and participate in SAP MM module configuration, testing, and deployment.

- Conduct data mapping, gap analysis, and process design workshops to align SAP MM solutions with business processes.

- Provide ongoing support and maintenance for SAP MM configurations, including troubleshooting and resolving issues.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of SAP MM with other SAP modules like SAP SD, SAP FI, and SAP PP.

- Train end-users and create detailed documentation to support SAP MM implementations and upgrades.

- Stay current with SAP MM best practices, new functionalities, and tools.

- Manage and lead small to medium-sized projects, ensuring timely delivery and quality outcomes.

- Extensive experience in SAP Materials Management (MM) module implementation and configuration.

- Strong understanding of core SAP MM processes, including procurement, inventory management, invoice verification, and material valuation.

- Experience in at least one full lifecycle SAP implementation project.

- Ability to gather business requirements and translate them into functional specifications effectively.

- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues promptly.

- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

- Knowledge of integration points between SAP MM and other SAP modules such as SD, FI, and PP.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Experience with SAP S/4HANA and understanding of the differences from ECC.

- SAP certification in MM or related areas.

- Familiarity with SAP Fiori applications related to MM.

- Experience with SAP Ariba or SAP SRM.

- Knowledge of Agile project management methodologies
