RiDiK - Software Engineer - Citrix Administration (12-15 yrs)

Job Description :

Experience on Technologies :

- Citrix Xenapp/Xendesktop 7.

- VMWARE.

- Windows Server 2008, 2012 and 2019.

- Windows Desktop OS platform (Win 8 and Win 10).

- PowerShell scripting.

Desired Competencies (Technical/Behavioural Competency) :

- 12+ Years of experience in Citrix Administration with both XenApp and XenDektop with multiple sites and farms.

- Working with VMware for the challenging issues and fixing it on time.

- Ensuring that proper monitoring is in place for VMware ESX and related components to address the issues proactively.

- Strong knowledge in design, implementation, troubleshooting of Citrix XenApp and Xendesktop.

- Have performed Citrix upgrade and farm migration from planning through implementation.

- Expert on multiple versions of Citrix and strong experience of Citrix Web Interface, Storefront and NetScaler).

- Strong understanding of Load Manager, Resource manager and installation manager.

- Printers Management in Citrix.

- Citrix Patch Management and policies configuration.

- Strong knowledge in configuring Roaming profiles and Streaming profile configuration.

- Good troubleshooting skills in Citrix printers, profiles, resource manager's thresholds, installation manager, Citrix Farm Configuration.

- Windows Active Directory Administration.

- Experience on managing Citrix farm on VmWare will be added advantage.

- Performing VmWare virtual machines host vmotion, Storage vmotion as part of daily work as needed.

- Hands on experience on Azure or Google Cloud knowledge will be added advantage.

- Should be able to work on P1/P2 and provide RCA/PCA to customer on time.

Qualification :

- Required certification in citrix & VMware.

- Knowledge of TCP/IP and interoperability with various network devices such as switches, routers, and firewalls.

- Knowledge of MS Windows, and VMware operating systems.

- Knowledge of information security techniques to maintain a secure and efficient work environment.

- Knowledge of Dell or HP servers and experience with warranty support.

- Working knowledge of network tools, such as, Visio, Wireshark, etc.

- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Basic understanding of MS SQL and Oracle databases.

- Basic understanding of SAN architecture.

- Ability to communicate with other employees in the company in both technical and non-technical roles.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

- Ability to maintain attendance to support required quality and quantity of work.

- Ability to establish and maintain positive and effective work relationships with coworkers, clients, members, providers and customers.
