SAP Grant Management Consultant with FICO Expertise

Please note, this is a fully remote position supporting projects based in Singapore for our client, . The role will be under Shell Infotechs payroll and will be offered as a one-year renewable contract in compliance with Singapore's hiring regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Configure and implement SAP Grant Management (GM) functionalities, including grant tracking, budgeting, financial monitoring, and reporting.
• Integrate SAP Grant Management with SAP FICO (FI, CO) modules to ensure smooth financial workflows and accurate reporting related to grants.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand grant management requirements and configure SAP solutions to align with business processes.
• Provide expert guidance on SAP Grant Management best practices, compliance regulations, and reporting standards.
• Conduct system testing, including User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and resolve any issues related to SAP GM and FICO.
• Manage system upgrades and apply patches to enhance SAP GM functionalities.
• Train and support users on SAP GM and FICO-related processes to ensure effective adoption.
• Assist with month-end and year-end financial closing activities for grants, ensuring accurate reporting and compliance.
• Maintain detailed documentation for SAP Grant Management processes, configurations, and user manuals.
• Continuously identify and implement improvements to optimize grant management efficiency in SAP.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience in configuring, implementing, and supporting SAP Grant Management (GM).
• Strong expertise in SAP FICO (FI, CO), particularly in integration with SAP GM.
• Experience handling complex grant-related workflows, including budgeting, fund allocation, and financial monitoring.
• In-depth knowledge of financial reporting standards, regulatory compliance, and grant management regulations.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in SAP GM and FICO.
• Excellent communication skills for collaborating with business stakeholders and providing training and documentation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a focus on continuous improvement.
• SAP certification in Grant Management or FICO is a plus.
• Experience in project management and familiarity with implementation methodologies is an added advantage.

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA or cloud-based SAP solutions.
• Experience in the public sector or non-profit organizations, particularly in grant compliance and management.
• Understanding of the complete grant lifecycle, from application to reporting and closure.
