We are seeking a skilled PHPixie Developer to join our dynamic team and contribute to the development of cutting-edge web applications. The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of PHPixie, PHP, and web development principles, with a passion for creating efficient and robust software solutions.
Responsibilities: - Develop, test, and maintain web applications using PHPixie as the primary framework, ensuring high performance, scalability, and security.
- Integrate databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) into web applications, creating efficient data models and optimizing database queries.
- Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user interfaces (UIs) into the PHPixie application, ensuring a seamless user experience.
- Create and maintain RESTful APIs for communication between the web application and other systems or services.
- Optimize PHPixie codebase for performance and efficiency, keeping up-to-date with the latest PHPixie features and best practices.
- Implement security measures to protect web applications against common vulnerabilities (e.g., SQL injection, cross-site scripting) and stay informed about emerging security threats.
- Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and adherence to coding standards.
- Document code, processes, and system architecture for the benefit of the development team and stakeholders.
- Develop unit tests and conduct thorough testing to ensure the reliability and robustness of the application.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, front-end developers, and system administrators, to deliver high-quality web applications.
- Identify and resolve bugs, performance issues, and other technical problems that may arise during development or in production.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience in web development with PHPixie or similar PHP frameworks.
- Proficiency in PHP programming and related technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
- Strong understanding of database systems and SQL.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Knowledge of web security best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
- Experience with other web technologies (e.g., Laravel, Symfony) is a plus.
- Knowledge of front-end technologies and frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js).
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) experience.
