In this product/ application specialist role, you will be responsible for driving Revvity reproductive health portfolio business growth. You will be responsible in providing expert technical support and training for our cutting-edge reproductive health solutions, ensuring our customers maximize the potential of our products. You will work both independently and, in a team, setting with Account Managers and Field Service Engineers. You will be expected to create and develop field related opportunities, as well as successful strategies and tactics to sell our solutions. You will be required to provide best in class technical support to the customers and sales team; including instrument demonstrations, sample processing training, technical guidance and troubleshooting. The role will require to act as a technical consultant to our customer for providing all technical product related information, training and support to internal as well as external customers. You will be one of an elite team of specialists driving Revvity success in this competitive marketplace.
Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive technical product information, training, and support to both internal and external customers.
Plan and deliver high-level product demonstrations and pre-sales technical support in coordination with Sales Team Leaders and Account Managers.
Develop and maintain strong customer relationships, following up on leads and prospecting for new opportunities
Drive opportunities through the full sales cycle, from initial contact to closing
Maintain and expand domain knowledge and expertise in relevant reproductive health markets
Create and deliver educational seminars to increase awareness and interest among new and existing customers
Manage complex demands and relationships to maximize customer satisfaction
Provide valuable market and product feedback to RD teams
Collaborate with the application specialist/ FAS team to elevate overall performance
Lead projects requiring cross-functional coordination
Assist Sales Professionals in assessing customer needs, differentiating Revvitys value proposition, handling objections, and closing sales
Conduct product and applications training for Sales Professionals and third-party agents/dealers
Work with the Sales team to improve sales execution and prospect conversion rates
Assist in developing targeted account strategies for key accounts to achieve annual business and market share growth targets
Generate high levels of customer satisfaction through professional support
Solve a broad range of problems of varying scope and complexity
Contribute to planning and executing effective market warm-up and launch activities for new products
Develop and maintain customer relationships and follow up leads
Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects and prioritize multiple tasks.
The individual for this position will be covering Greater India region. Ability to travel up to 50% of the time
Required Competence
MSc, Ph.D., in a Biology/ Biotechnology/ Biochemistry highly preferred.
5+ years related experience required
Strong background in prenatal and newborn screening technologies is highly desirable, with preference given to candidates who have hands-on experience with related products and applications.
Strong practical and theoretical knowledge of diagnostic application
Solid presentation skills to variety of audiences
Strategic selling abilities are highly preferred
Excellent verbal, written, and communication skills
Interpersonal skills and ability to work cross-functionally
Possesses ability to meet sales targets and support business initiatives/objectives
