Talent Manager:
The Talent Manager is responsible for the strategic allocation of technical resources to support various projects and operational needs. This role ensures optimal resource utilization, enabling the organization to achieve its project and business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Planning and Forecasting:
- Collaborate with project managers and department heads to understand resource needs and forecast future requirements.
- Develop and maintain resource plans that align with project timelines and business objectives.
2. Recruitment and Onboarding:
- Identify resource gaps and assist HR in recruiting for necessary skills.
- Facilitate onboarding for new hires to ensure they are equipped to succeed in their roles.
3. Performance Management:
- Monitor and evaluate resource performance, providing feedback and support for professional development with support from AHR.
- Identify training needs and coordinate training programs to enhance team skills.
4. Reporting and Analysis:
- Maintain accurate records of resource allocation and utilization metrics.
- Prepare regular reports on resource management activities, presenting findings to senior management.
5. Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Act as a liaison between project teams, HR, and senior management to ensure resource alignment with strategic objectives.
- Engage with stakeholders to understand their needs and address any resource-related challenges.
6. Process Improvement:
- Identify opportunities to streamline resource management processes and implement best practices.
- Stay updated on industry trends and tools to enhance resource management capabilities.
Key Outcomes:
1. Optimal Resource Utilization & Timely Project Delivery -
- Ensure that projects are delivered on time and within budget by aligning resource allocation with project timelines and requirements.
- Ensure that associates have the necessary skills either through training, continuous enablement and mentoring to achieve the project goals and career aspirations.
2. Employee Satisfaction & Retention
- Increase employee satisfaction and retention rates by implementing tailored development plans and training programs based on performance evaluations.
3. Effective Talent Acquisition and Time to Bill
- Reduce time-to-fill/ bill for key positions by 20% through proactive recruitment and collaboration with HR, ensuring the team has the necessary skills.
4. Enhanced Reporting Accuracy:
- Provide management with accurate and insightful resource utilization reports, leading to informed decision-making and strategic planning.
5. Stakeholder Satisfaction:
- Achieve a stakeholder satisfaction score of 90% or higher by effectively addressing resource needs and maintaining open communication channels.
6. Process Efficiency:
- Implement at least three process improvements per year that streamline resource management operations, resulting in a measurable reduction in resource allocation time.

Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
- 3- 5 Years years of experience in resource management, project management, or a related role within the IT sector.
- Strong understanding of IT service delivery and project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a collaborative approach to problem-solving.
- Proficiency in resource management software and tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, etc.).
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with budgeting and financial management related to resource allocation.
- Familiarity with workforce planning and talent management strategies.
- Certification in project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) or resource management is advantageous.
