Senior Analyst Tax

Summary:
This position will be responsible for processing of individual tax returns. This includes gathering information, preparation of income computation, drafting/reviewing work papers and return forms, reviewing documentation, etc. This position will also be responsible for assisting in training other members of the team as well as managing their own workflow within established guidelines.

About The Role

Complete assigned tasks according to deadlines.
Prepare income computation worksheets, tax schedules, and draft tax returns using software; enter data into checkpoint to verify calculations
Review documentation and organize materials to prepare tax returns
Communicate with clients during tax season to respond to questions, provide updates on the status of their tax returns, and address any concerns they may have
Assist with the development of new processes and procedures
Train junior staff members
Manage workflow and coordinate with other members of the team to ensure that all tasks are completed in a timely manner
Perform other duties as assigned

About You
Bachelor s degree in Accounting or related field required; CPA preferred but not required
Minimum of two years experience in accounting/tax required; prior experience working in public accounting environment preferred
Proficient computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office products, CorpTax software, and ability to learn new software programs quickly
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Ability to make critical decisions quickly and efficiently
