Reubro International - iOS Developer - SWIFT/Objective C (2-4 yrs)

Job Description :

At Reubro Interntional, we're building human-focused technology solutions that capture efficiency, performance, and user-friendly designs. We're seeking an IOS developer to develop applications and build thoughtful experiences centered around our customers.

During a typical day, you'll be working alongside our web team to determine customer needs, brainstorm solutions, generate website mockups and prototypes, present these prototypes to customers, and both develop and optimize live platforms. We're looking for someone who is quick on their feet, possesses strong technical skills, and isn't afraid to ask questions. An understanding of not just how to code but why certain code works is a must.

Skillset Requirements for Developer :

1. Experience with the VisionOS SDK to build applications for Apple's Vision Pro platform, focusing on immersive video streaming and spatial interactions.

2. Proficient in RealityKit 2 and ARKit to design and develop realistic 3D environments, incorporating spatial audio, hand tracking, and gaze interactions, with knowledge of SceneKit for rendering and managing 3D scenes within custom environments.

3. Expertise with Metal for high-performance graphics and GPU-based rendering, ensuring smooth playback and visual quality within immersive environments.

4. Strong command of Swift and SwiftUI for building a responsive and visually engaging user interface that adheres to VisionOS design guidelines. Familiarity with UIKit for integrating complementary UI components as needed.

5. Knowledge of VR-specific UX best practices, focusing on intuitive navigation, minimizing motion sickness, and ensuring comfort within immersive spaces.

6. Comprehensive understanding of Apple's guidelines for VisionOS and Vision Pro, ensuring that the app adheres to platform standards for UI, functionality, and data security.

Additional Valuable Skills :

- Familiarity with Reality Composer Pro 2.0 for creating and testing custom 3D environments.

- Ability to work with Apple's Destination Video project as a foundational base, modifying it to meet the project's objectives.

- Strong collaboration and communication skills, especially if working with UI/UX designers, backend engineers, or external freelancers.

- This skillset will equip developers to build an app that is visually engaging, responsive, and optimized for a seamless user experience on Apple Vision Pro Plex Media Streaming

Free Custom Environments :

- Users can select from a set of predefined environments to stream their Plex content.

- Marketplace for Custom Environments

User-Uploaded Environments : Users can upload their custom environments from their AVP device.

UI/UX Design :

- The apps interface will mimic the UI/UX of the existing Aurora app while incorporating unique features as specified by the client.

- Proven experience as an iOS Developer, with a portfolio of high-performance, user-friendly apps in the App Store.

- Proficiency in Swift and Objective-C, and a solid understanding of iOS frameworks, Apple Vision, ARKit, and Apple Human Interface Guidelines.

- Experience with Apple Vision Pro and spatial computing technologies, including expertise in creating immersive, interactive applications.

- Familiarity with media streaming protocols (HLS, DASH), video playback, and handling of real-time audio-visual content.

- Understanding of Core ML for integrating machine learning models, particularly in vision and media-related tasks.

- Strong skills in multithreading, memory management, and performance tuning for iOS and Vision Pro applications.

- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
