Role & responsibilities
Training Strategy & Implementation
- Develop and execute zonal training plans aligned with organizational objectives.
- Ensure training programs meet the needs of employees across various departments.
- Monitor and report on the effectiveness of training programs, using KPIs and feedback.
- Provide leadership and be responsible for strategic planning, initiating and spearheading all sales training and development programs across the organization.
- Design and organize Basic Training Programs. Refresher training programs Management Development programs for all ASM/ RSMs and Sales Managers, in order to build right mental attitude and motivation for the job & thereby improve their productivity.
Program Development & Delivery
- Design and customize training modules to address specific skill gaps and performance improvement needs in the zone.
- Organize and deliver workshops, on-the-job training sessions, and refresher courses.
- Coordinate with subject matter experts and external vendors to enhance training programs.
- Development and on-going enhancement of Sales Training Curriculum
- Proactive approach to training & business development including the evaluation of current processes for improvement.
- Develop training calendar for all divisions , complete and manage training program as per training calendar
Team Management
- Lead and mentor a team of training officers or facilitators within the zone.
- Conduct periodic reviews to assess team performance and provide guidance for improvement.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
Assessment & Reporting
- Evaluate training outcomes through surveys, assessments, and performance metrics.
- Maintain accurate training records and prepare detailed reports for senior management.
- Recommend updates to training strategies based on data analysis and feedback.
Compliance & Quality Assurance
- Ensure all training initiatives comply with company policies and industry regulations.
- Maintain high standards for training materials and delivery methods.
Preferred candidate profile
Key Qualifications
- Bachelors or Masters degree or relevant certifications (e.g., Train the Trainer, L&D, etc.) preferred.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong understanding of training methodologies and adult learning principles.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Analytical mind-set with the ability to evaluate training effectiveness and ROI.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-cultural environment.
Experience Required
- 5+ years of experience in training and development, preferably in a managerial role.
- Experience managing training across multiple locations or regions.
- Familiarity with industry-specific training needs is a plus.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Percentage of employees trained as per schedule.
- Improvement in employee performance post-training.
- Feedback ratings from training sessions.
- Cost-efficiency of training programs.
