Job Description
- Building large-scale, mission-critical Scala API services based on Akka HTTP and Http4s according to modern microservices architecture standards
- Creating modular and scalable code that integrates with our platform as well as external API endpoints
- Working independently and collaboratively in an agile environment within a cross -functional team Getting stuff done
- Skill Requirements:
- Multiple years experience as a Scala developer working on web based applications
- Scala skill (preferably Akka HTTP)
- Solid knowledge of tools like Git, Docker, Kubernetes and Kafka
- Strong experience in RESTful API design and development
- Familiarity with CI/CD
- Experience with both relational (Postgres) and non-relational databases (Cassandra)
- Strong communication skills
