Mainframe Consultant - RPG/400 (6-12 yrs)

Location : PAN India Virtusa Location.

Mode : Hybrid

Exp : 6 to 12 Years

Notice Period : Immediate to 15 days serving

Key Responsibilities :

- Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

- Design, develop, and implement solutions on the IBM Mainframe platform using RPGLE, Free format, ILE, and CLLE.

- Write and execute unit test scripts to ensure code quality and functionality.

- Perform system analysis and troubleshooting to identify and resolve issues.

- Prepare and maintain technical documentation.

- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.

- Stay abreast of the latest technologies and industry best practices.

Mandatory Skills :

- Strong experience with AS400/iSeries

- Proficient in SQL, RPGLE, CLLE

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

- Experience in writing unit test scripts

- Strong coding skills and experience on RPGLE, Free format, ILE, CLLE

Desired Skills :

- Experience with DevOps practices and tools

- Knowledge of Agile methodologies

- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure)

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
