AWS Cloud Engineer - CI/CD Pipeline (4-8 yrs)

Location : Gurgaon/Bangalore/Hyderabad

Role Overview :

A cloud engineer is responsible for designing, building, and maintaining cloud based infrastructure and processes to support data and application solutions. Their role focuses on implementing governance, best practices, and security measures while reducing cloud costs. They utilize Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to ensure scalability, efficiency and security. The individual will be a member of the platform team and working in collaboration with our various teams such as data governance and data engineering.

Roles and Responsibilities :

- Working closely with data teams, cloud engineers will support the development and deployment of data solutions, emphasizing innovation, troubleshooting, and cross-team collaboration.

- Will take part to responding and fulfillment platform request from various data teams, this includes but not limited to internal business stakeholders, data analytics, data engineers, QAs

Required Skill Sets :

- Experience working in AWS, Redshift, Athena.

- Prior experience supporting in AWS infrastructure cloud operations, monitoring and

troubleshooting

- Optimize AWS resources to reduce cloud costs while maintaining performance and scalability.

- Implement and maintain security best practices, such as AWS IAM policies, encryption (KMS),

and data protection mechanisms.

- Experience in Docker, Terraform & Kubernetes

- Participation in defining cloud strategies and evaluating emerging technologies and AWS

services.

- Experience working with JIRA service Management

Preferred Qualifications :

- University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

- 3+ years of experience in data engineering.

- Experience working with Cloud data platforms, preferably AWS (Lambda, SNS, S3, AWS Glue,Athena, RDS, ECS).

- Experience in monitoring the AWS services using Cloudwatch, Cloudtrail, Cloudwatch insights,etc.

- Intermediate level skills in Python and SQL

- Demonstrated expertise in resiliency planning and disaster recovery strategy development and implementation.

- Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and build/test/deploy automation

- Working experience where environment utilize IaC (Infrastructure as Code)

- Good experience working within cross-functional, agile, or continuous delivery teams

- Strong problem-solving skills and passion for solving hard problems as part of a team and by individual investigation.

- Proactive, self-starter with strong detail orientation is critical in this role.

- Good professional communication skills: experience presenting and effectively communicating findings to colleagues and/or clients
