Job Description :
We are seeking experienced and dynamic Application Support Specialists to join our team in Mumbai. You will be responsible for providing high-level support for our applications, ensuring smooth operation, troubleshooting issues, and driving improvements. The ideal candidates will have a strong technical background, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities :
- Provide day-to-day application support, including troubleshooting and resolving issues related to our applications.
- Manage incident and problem management processes & maintain up-to-date documentation and knowledge sharing across teams, also ensuring timely resolution and communication with stakeholders.
- Collaborate with development teams to identify and resolve application issues.
- Monitor application performance and implement necessary improvements.
- Proficient in support and maintaince of relational databases, primarily SQL Server and PostgresDB.
- Work closely with cloud service providers, particularly AWS, to manage and support cloud-based applications.
- Utilize collaboration and project management tools like Jira and Confluence to track and document issues, changes, and project progress.
- Participate in Agile processes, leveraging frameworks such as Kanban, SAFe, or SCRUM to manage workflows.
- Continuously improve application performance and reliability through proactive monitoring and optimization.
Required Skills and Qualifications :
Technical Proficiency :
- Strong experience with relational databases (SQL Server, PostgresDB).
- Hands- on experience with Snowflake .
- Hands-on experience with cloud services, particularly AWS (certification is a plus).
- Experience in programming languages like Java and Python is an advantage.
Incident & Problem Management :
- Proven experience in managing incidents and problem resolution processes.
Collaboration Tools :
- Proficiency in using Jira, Confluence, and other project management tools.
Agile Methodologies :
- Good understanding or experience with at least one common Enterprise Agile frameworks such as Kanban, SAFe, or SCRUM (certification is a plus).
Communication Skills :
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
