Objective :

The Senior Software Engineer is a mid-level professional responsible for leading the design and implementation of in-house software solutions or the integration of third-party software (including software-as-a-service). This role spans the entire development lifecycle, from business analysis support to production deployment and third-level operational support.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Productivity and Quality :

- Provide subject matter expertise in designing and implementing high-performing, secure, and cost-efficient solutions.

- Guide the evolution of solutions within the Business Application Group platforms.

- Develop and drive robust software development best practices to elevate the Business Applications Group's reputation as a reliable innovation partner.

2. Collaboration :

- Actively participate in developing and reviewing software standards, documentation, and implementation processes.

- Provide guidance to junior colleagues through active peer reviews.

- Build strong relationships with business stakeholders and collaborate across various Business Application Group chapters.

3. Leadership :

- Stay updated on secure application development practices and emerging technologies.

- Serve as a technical lead for specific applications, contributing to and guiding development teams, including internal and external members.

- Mentor junior colleagues through advice, coaching, knowledge transfer, and training opportunities.

- Embody company values, positively influencing both business users and team members.

4. Compliance :

- Ensure timely completion of compliance obligations and relevant professional certifications (if applicable).

- Guarantee adherence to the software development lifecycle through robust technical design and strict coding standards.

- Guide team members on compliance, security, and operational responsibilities within the area of work.

Qualifications and Experience :

- Master's degree in a relevant field.

- At least 7 years of professional experience in software development or a similar role.

- Proven experience leading a team of 3+ software developers or managing complex system environments.

- Strong programming expertise, preferably in Python and/or Java.

- Comprehensive knowledge of software development lifecycle, databases (SQL), operating systems, and cloud technologies.

- A successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to lead and mentor teams, possess superior technical skills, and have a track record of delivering high-quality software solutions
