Software Test Engineer - Automation Testing (3-8 yrs)

Job Description :

We are seeking a talented Software Testing Engineer to join our team and ensure the quality of our software products. As a Software Testing Engineer, you will play a crucial role in identifying and preventing defects, ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and reliability.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop and execute test cases and test plans based on software requirements.

- Conduct manual and functional testing to identify defects and ensure product quality.

- Automate test cases using Selenium and Java.

- Review software requirements and prepare test scenarios.

- Execute tests on software usability and user experience.

- Analyze test results for database impacts, errors, bugs, and usability.

- Prepare comprehensive reports on all aspects of software testing and report to the design team.

- Collaborate with clients to understand product requirements and provide feedback.

- Participate in design reviews and contribute to requirements, product design, and potential problem areas.

Required Skills and Experience :

- Minimum 1 year of experience in automation and manual testing.

- Proficiency in Selenium and Java for test automation.

- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices.

- Experience in developing test cases, test plans, and test scenarios.

- Ability to analyze test results and identify defects.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with other testing tools and frameworks (e., JUnit, TestNG).

- Knowledge of performance testing and load testing.

- Experience with agile development methodologies
