Automation Engineer

• Electronics/Instrumentation/Mechatronics Engineers having 1 to 4 years of Industrial Automation Experience
• Sound Experience in PLC Programming, HMI and SCADA development for Siemens, Allen Bradley, M itsubishi, Omron systems.
• Experience in Machine Interface - Hardwiring (Electrical Panels, Sensors, Controllers,etc.)
• Knowledge of industrial protocols: Modbus, Profinet, Profibus, Ethernet IP.
• Experience of selecting and interfacing of various parameters such as flow, pressure, level, temperature measurement devices, methodologies and interfacing.
• Candidate with experience in Energy Meters, Vision System/Scanners, Power Supplies, Laser Marker and CNC Process and Controllers will have an added advantage.
• Candidate will have to travel to the customer site to deploy the systems and will have to understand the issues and providing quick, reliable solutions to the customers. Ensuring the deadline commitments are met.
• Candidate having Site Experience is a Must - Customer Visits for Deployment Activities. Interactions with customer engineers on site related to hardware, network, cabling ,etc. Knowledge Transfer, Training to the customer and other stake holders.
• Candidate should be able to do Onsite or Offline troubleshooting.
• Experience in Identification, Selection and Procurement of various Instrumentation and Automation Systems.
• Experience in Designing & fulfilling the architecture for various process control solutions, automation systems and applications. Candidate having familiarity in the Automation and Process Plants will have a preference.
• Excellent Problem Solving & Communication skills. Ability to maintain good relationships with the clients.
• Self directing and highly proactive while working independently and as a part of the team.
• Open to candidates with good technical aptitude and ability to learn quickly, without any prior knowledge.

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of various Automation Product Brands and their Product range.
• Basic Programming knowledge - Python and Linux OS.
• BLE and WiFi working and concepts clarity.
• Basic IIoT Communication Protocols & Tools knowledge : HTTP, MQTT, OPC UA, Node-red.
• Basic Gateway knowledge : Raspberry Pi and Similar gateways.
• Basic electronic components soldering ability.
• CNC Brands Interfacing Knowledge: Siemens, Fanuc, Mitsubishi, etc.
• Experience in IIOT projects, Shopfloor Connectivity and Automated Vision Systems is highly desirable.
