Mechanical Design Manager

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Will be responsible to:

• Post Bid Engineering for stationary ESS solutions,
• Understanding Mechanical design of containerised BESS solution including Steel structures, HVAC & FSS.
• Understanding project requirements and calculate BOQ for mechanical items in co-ordination with rest of design team.
• Preparation of Layouts, schematics & BOQ for HVAC system.
• Designing and maintaining safe machinery and structure.
• Preparation of pre-bid queries, cost sheet for mechanical, structural & HVAC design for projects.
• Post Bid Engineering for stationary ESS
• Understanding Mechanical design of containerised BESS solution including HVAC & FSS.
• Understanding project requirements and calculate BOQ for mechanical items in co-ordination with rest of design team.
• Design of HVAC system for the BESS inside container/ RCC building/ PEB etc.
• Preparation of Layouts, schematics & BOQ for HVAC system.
• Co-ordination with customer & internal stakeholders for techno commercially efficient design deliverables.
• Detailed design of HVAC components including Electrical & SCADA interface,
• Preparation of drawings, layouts design basis reports, sizing calculations for HVAC, FSS components
• Vendor evaluation based on offers received, providing technical recommendations to procurement team
• Preparation of QA, QC plans for materials to be purchased & FQP for field execution
• Preparation of BOQ for project supply & services scope.
• Product development
• Support product development team for thermal management of battery packs for different application such as Telecom Towers, Automobiles 2W,3W & 4W.
• Preparation of testing & validation plan as per relevant standards.
• Development of stationary BESS solutions such as BESS container, Stand-alone outdoor enclosures with innovative cooling mechanism for lowest energy consumption.

SKILLS TO PERFORM DUTIES:

• Strong technical know how about HVAC design.
• Knowledge relevant standards for HVAC.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Report writing.
• Expert in MS Excel advance tools.

Knowledge of simulation tools such as FEA, CFD and software such as ANSYS, Solid works etc .
