Job Description
- This role to look after the indirect tax compliances of North American region like US Sales Tax, Property Taxes, Franchise Tax, Canada GST/PST/HST etc.
- Enabling the business by providing requisite tax support in various commercial decisions.
- Prior exposure of HANDLING US SALES & USE TAX is a must.
- Handling international tax matters. Leading Tax Assessments, Appeals, Audits, attend notices by coordinating with tax consultants/advisors, timely submissions/reply etc related to various tax matters and help leadership for the final decision/actions.
- Own the tax accounting of the respective North Americal region countries.
- Overall experience of 3-4 years handling tax matters.
- Preferably person who has experience working for software industry.
- Automating the manual process in place for tax compliances.
- Supporting & building complete framework for tax compliance and adherence Interpreting tax under the business framework ensuring adherence of law as well as framing the processes/designs to enable business.
