Repco Home Finance Limited (RHFL) established in the year 2000, a housing finance company (HFCs),
registered with National Housing Bank and regulated by Reserve Bank of India is inviting applications
for RECRUITMENT OF ASSISTANT GENERAL MANAGER FOR IT DEPARTMENT IN CHENNAI.

Position: ASSISTANT GENERAL MANAGER
Location: CHENNAI
Eligibility:
1. Age not exceeding 40 years as on 01-01-2025 (relaxation generally up to 52 years of age can
be considered based on commensurate, relevant prior experience for deserving cases based
on Management discretion).
Desired Profile:
1. Minimum 12 years of relevant experience in leading and managing agile software engineering
teams within the technology and financial services industry. For further age relaxation,
commensurate additional experience would be required.
2. For recruitment in all cadres, external candidates applying, having pending disciplinary action
against them at the time of applying for the position or having been punished under
disciplinary proceedings in last 5 years will not be considered eligible. All appointments are
subject to satisfactory reference / background verification.
3. Early joining will be preferred.
4. Candidates terminated by any previous employers are not eligible to apply.
Educational Qualification:
• Graduate (preceded by 10+2 /Diploma) in B.Sc (Computer Science), BCA, B Tech/ BE in CS/ IT/Circuit
Branch from a UGC recognized university. Post-graduation such as MCA, M Tech etc. will be preferred.
Additional Qualification:
1. Strong knowledge in CI/CD, System Design, Test Automation, and application performance
monitoring.
Additional Skillset:
1. Proven track record of leading digitization efforts, overseeing the adoption of multiple
software applications, and managing application-related challenges.
2. Experience with infrastructure, application monitoring, platform stabilization, and service
management is desirable.
Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Head of Software Team to take charge of the
technological vision, strategy, and execution for RHFL Core Applications. As we continue our
digitization journey and integrate various applications from multiple vendors, the Head of Software
Team will be instrumental in driving the seamless adoption and performance of these systems. The
role is critical in ensuring the scalability, security, and performance of the technology stack as we
expand our footprint across India.
This candidate will collaborate closely with our Chief Information Officer (CIO) and Chief Technology
Officer (CTO), focusing on managing the overall application architecture, and driving continuous
innovation. The role will also be responsible for managing cross-functional collaboration, ensuring
alignment of technology solutions with business goals, and staying ahead of evolving technology
trends and security challenges in the home loan industry.
Key Responsibilities:
• Leadership & Strategy: Lead the Software team in executing the technological vision and
strategy for all application-related initiatives, ensuring alignment with overall business
objectives.
• Application Integration: Oversee the adoption and implementation of various applications
from multiple vendors ensuring seamless integration with the existing Technology Landscape
and systems.
• Collaboration: Work closely with other departments (Sales, Operations, HR, Risk
Management, CDR, Accounts, Treasury, Admin, Legal, etc) to ensure technology support to
them.
• Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate with Product Managers, Testing Teams, UI/UX
Designers, and other stakeholders to define requirements and priorities, ensuring that the
technological solutions align with business needs.
• Security Oversight: Take efforts to implement and maintain robust security protocols to
protect customer, company, and stakeholder data, ensuring compliance with NHB, RBI and
RHFL IT & IS policies.
• Vendor Management: Manage relationships with external vendors for software products and
services, ensuring their alignment with business goals and timely delivery of high-quality
solutions.
• Patch Management: Prescribed process needs to be followed during application/security
patches for UAT and production release during designated maintenance window.
• Innovation & Digitization: Drive innovation through the exploration and adoption of new
technologies and methodologies to support the company's digitization efforts.
Technical Proficiency:
