Renesan Software - SQL Server Developer - Performance Tuning (5-7 yrs)

Job Role :

- As a SQL Server Developer at Renesan Software, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining database solutions to support our business applications.

- You will work closely with other developers to ensure optimal database performance and reliability.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and implement database schemas, including tables, views, stored procedures, triggers, and functions.

- Create Entity Relationship (ER) Diagrams to visualize database structures.

- Ensure data integrity and consistency through appropriate constraints and indexes.

- Write efficient and optimized SQL queries to improve application performance.

- Analyze query performance and identify bottlenecks.

- Implement indexing strategies to optimize query execution plans.

- Design and develop ETL processes using SSIS to integrate data from various sources into the SQL Server database.

- Ensure data quality and consistency during the integration process.

- Monitor database performance and troubleshoot issues.

- Perform database backups and recovery operations.

- Implement security measures to protect sensitive data.

- Collaborate with other developers, analysts, and stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

Required Skills and Experience :

- Strong proficiency in SQL Server (T-SQL)

- Experience with database design and normalization principles

- Knowledge of SSIS for data integration

- Understanding of database performance tuning techniques

- Ability to write complex SQL queries and stored procedures

- Experience with SQL Server administration tasks (backup, restore, security)

- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

- Attention to detail and ability to work independently

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
