Position Machine Operator Tablet Compression

Min. Experience. 2 to 10 years

Location of posting Kampala, Uganda

Job Description / Responsibilities

• Operate tablet compression machines, including setup, adjustment, and monitoring to ensure optimal performance
• Load and unload materials, such as powders and granules, into machines
• Monitor and control machine settings, such as pressure, speed, and temperature
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of machines and equipment
• Conduct quality control checks on tablets, including weight, hardness, and appearance
• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and batch records to ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
• Collaborate with team members to achieve production goals and resolve issues
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of production, maintenance, and quality control activities

Required Skill Set

• 3-5 years of experience in pharmaceuticals or a related industry
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Familiarity with GMP and SOPs

Qualification: 10th standard pass with additional vocational training in mechanical certification preferable/ Industrial Training Institute
