Job Description
As a Senior Site Reliability Engineer (SRE), you will be responsible for challenging reliability and toil reduction projects. You will have hands-on experience through most SRE practices, a good understanding of distributed systems and their dependencies, and how to automate recovery to protect service levels. SREs are on-call and assist during incidents, contributing to process improvements through experience and knowledge.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain system availability and performance
- Develop and implement automation tools to streamline processes
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure scalability and reliability of new features
- Identify and resolve complex technical issues
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement preventative measures
- Participate in on-call rotations to support critical systems
Requirements
- Strong background in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience
- 4+ years of experience in SRE or DevOps
- Experience in maintaining CI/CD pipelines
- Proficiency with Docker and Kubernetes
- Knowledge of cloud service providers, especially Azure
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Ability to collaborate with a team and demonstrate resourcefulness
- Excellent communication skills
