The Payroll Specialist is responsible for preparing and distributing payroll checks, taxes, and employee benefits. assess systems for efficiency and maintain perk payment records, while also generating payroll expenditure reports and carrying out routine tasks. You should have a solid educational background or equivalent work experience. Also you should have the ability to collaborate effectively and follow guidance from others.
Responsibilities
Providing the accurate and timely review and submission of ANZ payroll data to meet payroll processing deadlines. Adherence to all ANZ payroll processes and controls to ensure fully compliant payroll operations across the region
Ensuring timely completion of ANZ payroll payments. Including relevant deductions for employment taxes, other statutory deductions, benefits and other item and funding.
Producing monthly payroll related reconciliations and support GL delivery to all Finance partners. Assist the Head of Payroll - APAC in implementing the global payroll strategy for the region, including but not limited to data migration reconciliations, parallel payroll runs and integration testing.
Providing a best-in-class employee experience for delivery of payroll. Own the resolution of payroll related myHR cases.
Building stakeholder relationships across RELX, notably Tax, Finance and Human Resources. Work closely with the payroll vendor to ensure delivery of all target SLA s and payroll deadlines.
Coordinating the required administrative steps for ANZ payroll invoices and ensure timely approval and submission to Finance for payment.
Requirements
Have knowledge with payroll of Australia and/or New Zealand is required.
Have Demonstrable experience of supporting payroll transformation projects. Previous use of Workday and associated payroll integrations.
Have relevant experience of 3-5 years.
Have bachelor s degree in business, Finance/Accounting, or related experience or discipline. Deep experience of ANZ payroll operations and compliance requirements.
