🛠 Key Requirements

🎓 Educational Qualification: MBA (International Sales) with 1st Division
📅 Experience: 7 to 10 years in a large consumer durable or FMCG company
🌟 Position Summary
--
This role involves 7-10 years of experience in international business development, focusing on Channel/Distribution networks in East Africa. You will identify potential countries and buyers, manage negotiations on pricing and terms, and drive business objectives alongside the department head. ✈️ Frequent travel is required to achieve these goals.
🏆 Key Responsibilities
🔹 Financial & Sales
--
Increase channel sales (Volume & Value) from existing clients.
Establish new distributors in untapped markets to expand coverage.
Ensure timely order dispatch and resolve any distributor issues.
Formulate sales strategies for key focus markets.
Analyze secondary sales channels for distributors.
🔹 Budget Adherence
--
Monitor selling variable expenses (Ads, Sales Promotion, Commissions) within budget.
🔹 New Product Development (NPD)
--
Coordinate with Export SCM to drive NPD revenue growth in the region.
🔹 Customer & Distributor Management
--
Assess distributor capabilities (financial health, suitability) for each country.
Ensure timely delivery and quality service to buyers.
🔹 Internal Business Process
--
Diversify the product mix to increase the average pair value billed to distributors.
Improve inventory management and working capital efficiency.
Provide estimates for AOP submissions and set annual targets for distributors.
