Fashion Designer

You will be responsible for conceptualizing, designing and creating a range of products. (WOMEN WEAR-WESTERN). Express the vision built collectively, and design/create distinctive

and strong products and collections while keeping the essence of the brands DNA

Responsibilities

Must have a keen interest and understanding of sustainable fashion

• Propose designs , sketches, colour palettes and mood boards linked to seasonal concepts
• Develop designs from drawing and/or mock-up from a technical perspective

Needs to have clear understanding of measurement specs

• Responsible to create in Illustrator technical drawings based on hand sketches, 3D sketches
• Attend design meetings and fitting sessions, follow up on finalization and validation of prototypes, pre-production and production pieces • Prepare for design meetings and presentations
• Keep collection overviews up to date and maintain progress reports
• Ensure communication flow and work closely together with design and product teams including masters
• Visit suppliers and development teams to hand over designs and corrections on protos
