Fashion Designer

Responsibilities

• Design and develop innovative and marketable clothing collections for the Indian market, considering current trends and brand identity.
• Translate design concepts into sketches, technical drawings, and mood boards.
• Source and select high-quality fabrics, trims, and embellishments based on design specifications and budget constraints.
• Collaborate with patternmakers and sample makers to ensure designs are translated accurately into physical garments.
• Oversee the sampling process, providing feedback and making necessary adjustments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience working in the fashion industry, preferably with a global brand.
• Strong understanding of the design process, from concept to production.
• Good sketching and technical drawing skills.
• In-depth knowledge of fabrics, trims, and construction techniques.
• Passion for Indian fashion and a keen eye for detail.
