Job Description

Elan Professional Appliances Pvt. Ltd. is seeking an experienced and dynamic Regional Service Manager to oversee and manage the service operations for our Commercial Refrigeration products. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing service teams, resolving technical issues, and ensuring high-quality service standards for commercial refrigeration systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Service Operations Management: Oversee the regional service operations for commercial refrigeration systems, including cold rooms, laboratory freezers, and related refrigeration equipment.
• Team Leadership: Lead, train, and manage a team of service engineers and technicians to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
• Customer Support: Act as the point of contact for escalated customer service issues, providing timely and effective solutions.
• Maintenance & Repair: Ensure regular preventive maintenance and timely repairs for commercial refrigeration systems, minimizing downtime and ensuring optimal performance.
• Field Support & Troubleshooting: Provide technical expertise in troubleshooting and resolving complex issues in the field.
• Service Quality & Standards: Ensure service standards and best practices are consistently followed, improving customer satisfaction and service reliability.
• Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate service reports, manage service-related documentation, and prepare regular performance reports for management.
• Vendor & Spare Parts Management: Coordinate with vendors for spare parts procurement and ensure the availability of necessary parts for repairs and maintenance.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

• Experience: 12-22 years of experience in service management, with a strong background in commercial refrigeration, including cold rooms and cold chain systems.
• Proven experience in leading service teams and handling escalations effectively.
• Deep understanding of mechanical and electrical systems within refrigeration technology.
• Prior experience in troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of commercial refrigeration systems.

Qualifications:

• Education:
• Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering
• B.Tech in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering is highly preferred.
• Skills:
• Strong technical expertise in commercial refrigeration systems and equipment.
• Ability to lead and manage service teams.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills to interact with customers and team members effectively.
