Job Description

Introduction:
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Regional Sales Manager to lead the sales operations for the PM KUSUM scheme, Solar Water Pumps, and Commercial Sales in Gujarat regiion. This key role will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, managing relationships with key customers and stakeholders, and driving revenue growth. The Regional Sales Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure customer satisfaction, resolve issues, and capture new business opportunities.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Sales Strategy Development & Execution:
    • Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve and exceed revenue targets for PM KUSUM, Solar Water Pumps, and Commercial Sales.
    • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to adapt sales approaches accordingly.
    • Set clear sales objectives and track performance against targets.

  1. Customer & Stakeholder Relationship Management:
    • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with customers, distributors, partners, and other key stakeholders in the region.
    • Identify and nurture new business opportunities to drive revenue growth.
    • Regularly engage with customers to understand their needs, provide solutions, and ensure satisfaction.

  1. Market Research & Business Development:
    • Conduct in-depth market research to identify emerging trends, new opportunities, and areas for expansion.
    • Analyze customer feedback and market conditions to adjust sales strategies and improve product offerings.
    • Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of regional market dynamics for better decision-making.

  1. Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams:
    • Work closely with the product, operations, marketing, and customer service teams to address customer concerns and enhance product offerings.
    • Collaborate with technical and support teams to resolve issues and improve customer satisfaction and performance.
    • Ensure timely and effective communication with all internal teams to optimize sales processes.

  1. Sales Forecasting & Reporting:
    • Provide regular reports on sales performance, market conditions, and opportunities to senior management.
    • Forecast sales volumes, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and suggest strategies for continuous improvement.
    • Monitor and manage the sales pipeline and close deals to meet set targets.

  1. Training & Mentoring:
    • Lead, mentor, and train the regional sales team to ensure a high level of product knowledge, professionalism, and sales effectiveness.
    • Foster a team-oriented environment focused on achieving sales goals and providing superior customer service.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • 5+ years of experience in sales, with at least 2-3 years in a regional management role, preferably in the renewable energy, solar, or commercial sales industries.
  • Strong understanding of the PM KUSUM scheme, Solar Water Pumps, and commercial sales environment.
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret market data to drive business decisions.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative, cross-functional team.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, CRM tools, and sales forecasting software.
  • Willingness to travel within the region as needed.
