Regional Manager - Strategic alliance

Role & responsibilities

* Mapping of assigned territory, prospecting & acquisition

• Sign-up meaningful distribution contracts with Banks, Brokers, NBFCs, MFIs, HFCs & other related institutions with an objective of increasing the distribution foot prints & premium growth for Pramerica Life
• Presentations to key decision makers for business partnerships
• Tracking competition movements & their strategies
• Initiating Sr. Management engagements with Hot Prospects
• Proposal development, including areas of client insight, approach, pricing & deal closure
• Develop internal networks with key stake-holders including operations, underwriting, actuarial, IT, marketing, legal & compliance

Preferred candidate profile

The candidate must have significant and demonstrated experience in Life/ Non-life Insurance and already established client relationships within the industry.

• Graduate or equivalent.
• 5 - 7 + years of relevant experience in business development / strategic alliances in life / non-life insurance industry or in BFSI segment
• Strong understanding of business & excellent market network in this space
• Individual with excellent presentation & oral communication skills
• Proven ability to connect with people and managing corporate relationship
• Creative thinking & execution skills - Attitude of high intent to deliver under tough environment
• Individual willing to frequently travel
