Accounts Manager For Elements Mall in Bangalore

Managing Team of: Accounts Executive

Job Summary:

The Accounts Manager will oversee and manage the financial operations of the mall, including budgeting, reporting, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. The role requires maintaining accurate financial records, coordinating with tenants and vendors for billing and payments, and optimizing the malls financial performance.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Management:

• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts receivable, accounts
  payable, and general ledger entries.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
• Ensure compliance with local tax regulations and accounting standards.
• Monitor cash flow, manage budgets, and provide variance analysis.
• Handle payroll and statutory deductions, ensuring timely payments.
• Coordination with Banks, Financial Advisor and other service providers and share the required information, monitoring the progress.
• Ensuring all payments after deductions of taxes as per Rule.
• Knowledge of all taxes and applicable Govt. rules from time to time ensuring Govt. compliances.

Tenant & Vendor Coordination:

• Ensure timely invoicing and collection of rent, service charges, and other tenant
  payments.
• Resolve tenant queries related to billing and statements.
• Coordinate vendor payments and manage service agreements.
• Monitoring the Agreements and ensuring payments as per terms and conditions.

Audit & Compliance:

• Manage internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and

information.

• Implement internal financial controls to minimize risks.
• Stay updated on relevant laws and regulations affecting financial operations.

Team Leadership:

• Supervise and guide the accounts team to ensure efficient performance.
• Provide training and development opportunities for team members.
• Collaborate with other departments to align financial operations with business goals.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Education: Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CA/CPA
  preferred).
• Experience: Minimum 5-7 years of accounting experience, preferably in the retail, Mall

or hospitality Industry.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally ERP 9, SAP, QuickBooks) and MS Office

Application (MS Excel/Word/PPT, Email)

• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, tax laws, and compliance.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and manage deadlines effectively.
