Design Engineer III

Primary Responsibilities

Lead large, complex automation projects using DriveWorks Pro, from scoping to deployment

Develop and oversee implementation of high-level automation strategies and design standards as per product group requirements

Collaborate with engineering, design, and manufacturing teams to understand requirements and translate them into automated solutions

Drive continuous improvement in automation workflows, focusing on reducing time and increasing quality

Provide leadership and mentorship to the entire DriveWorks team, including training and skill development

Research into new modules that could enhance automation capabilities

Implement and support in upgrading CAD Software and Automation Software

Integrating projects on the Autopilot servers, DriveWorks Live and SolidWorks/PDM

Secondary Responsibilities

Functional understanding of SAP Material Master(MM) and Variant Configurator (VC) usage or equivalent in other ERP/CPQ systems

Job Specification: Qualifications/Experience:

Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering, Automation, or a related discipline

6+ years of hands-on experience with DriveWorks Pro, SolidWorks, and design automation

Strong leadership, project management, and communication skills

Expertise in integrating DriveWorks with other business systems (ERP, PLM) is an advantage
