Job Description


Role & responsibilities :

Technical Leadership

  • Guide the team in designing, developing, and deploying robust, scalable, and efficient software solutions.
  • Establish and enforce coding standards, design patterns, and best practices to maintain code quality.
  • Lead technical decision-making and problem-solving during the project lifecycle.

2. Project Execution and Delivery

  • Plan, prioritize, and delegate tasks to team members to ensure timely project delivery.
  • Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to define requirements, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Monitor project progress and address risks or challenges proactively.

3. Team Management and Mentorship

  • Mentor and coach junior and mid-level developers, helping them enhance their technical skills and career growth.
  • Foster a collaborative and inclusive team culture that encourages knowledge sharing and innovation.
  • Conduct code reviews to ensure high-quality deliverables and provide constructive feedback.

4. Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Act as a liaison between the development team and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring mutual understanding of goals and progress.
  • Work closely with other teams such as QA, DevOps, and product management to streamline workflows.
  • Contribute to sprint planning, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups to align team efforts.

5. Process Improvement

  • Advocate for and implement process improvements, such as Agile practices or DevOps methodologies, to enhance team efficiency.
  • Automate repetitive tasks where possible to reduce manual effort and improve reliability.

6. Strategic Contributions

  • Support the organizations technical strategy by contributing insights and recommendations based on project experiences.
  • Identify areas for innovation and improvement within the technology stack and development processes.

7. Continuous Learning and Adaptation

  • Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends to ensure the team remains competitive.
  • Lead by example in adopting new tools, frameworks, and practices to drive team growth.

Preferred candidate profile

1. Technical Expertise:

  • Proficiency in programming languages like [e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript] and frameworks relevant to the organizations tech stack.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and DevOps practices.
  • Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and scalable solutions.

2. Leadership Abilities:

  • Demonstrated ability to lead small to medium-sized development teams.
  • Experience mentoring junior developers and fostering a collaborative team environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills in a fast-paced environment.

3. Project Management:

  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives.
  • Proven ability to manage timelines, deliverables, and communicate progress to stakeholders effectively.

4. Communication Skills:

  • Ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Effective team communication to ensure alignment on goals and expectations.

Educational Qualifications
