Job Summary: We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Chief Procurement Officer (CPO) to lead and manage the procurement function at our manufacturing and recycling company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing procurement strategies, managing supplier relationships, optimizing supply chain efficiency, and ensuring the acquisition of high-quality materials at competitive prices. The CPO will play a critical role in supporting the company's overall business objectives and growth.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and execute comprehensive procurement strategies aligned with the company's goals and objectives.

- Identify opportunities for cost savings, efficiency improvements, and risk mitigation within the procurement process.

- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and vendors.

- Negotiate favorable terms and conditions with suppliers to ensure cost-effective procurement.

- Monitor supplier performance and conduct regular evaluations to ensure quality and compliance.

- Oversee the entire supply chain process, from sourcing to delivery, to ensure timely and efficient operations.

- Implement best practices in supply chain management to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.

- Collaborate with internal teams to forecast material needs and ensure adequate inventory

- Identify and mitigate risks associated with procurement activities, including market fluctuations, supply disruptions, and geopolitical factors.

- Develop contingency plans to address potential supply chain disruptions.

- Prepare and manage the procurement budget, ensuring alignment with company financial goals.

- Analyze procurement data and financial reports to identify trends and opportunities for cost savings.

- Ensure procurement practices align with the company's sustainability and environmental goals.

- Maintain compliance with all relevant regulations and industry standards.

- Lead and mentor the procurement team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.

- Set performance goals and conduct regular performance evaluations for the procurement team.

Qualifications & Experience :

- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.

- Proven experience as a Chief Procurement Officer or in a senior procurement role, preferably within the plastics or lead alloys manufacturing and recycling industry.

- Minimum of 20 + years of experience in relevant field

- Strong knowledge of procurement best practices, supply chain management, and strategic sourcing.

- Excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.

- Proficiency in procurement software and MS Office Suite.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Salary Package:
